Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What is this new Gold Mode feature on Solebon?
A: Gold Mode is the pinnacle of game design. Elegant, high-contrast cards and companion design elements have been finely tuned for a unique premium experience across all devices and light conditions (light mode, dark mode, etc). Players can toggle switches within the Interface Modes section of Settings to switch between Gold, Modern or Classic game modes. When switching to Gold Mode, the app icon will change to a custom Gold Mode icon. You can also toggle the Gold Mode Icon switch ON to use the Gold Mode icon all of the time.

Q:  Where can I learn more about the How to Win feature on Solebon?
A: We have a dedicated support page here.

Q:  How do I move stats from an old device to a new ?
A:  Tap here and look under NEW DEVICES for details.

Q:  How do I transfer stats from the free version of Solebon to the paid version of Solebon?
A:  Tap here and look under TRANSFER STATS for details.

Q:  Do the games always have a solution?
A:  Any deal that is a Winning Deal has a proven winning solution.

Q:  Are the hands randomly generated?
A:  Yes. Winning Deals are randomly generated from a pool of hundreds of millions of proven winners. Purely random or unknown deals are generated without any programmed alterations or interference. In fact, the number of potential hands for any 52 card deck is quite large. With a random distribution, the potential number of hands is roughly a number that begins with an 8 and has 67 zeros after it.  (For more detail, see Randomization here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shuffling.)

Q:  How are Deal Points calculated?
A:  For Solebon (the 50 game app), tap on the Game List button (upper left corner) then tap HELP and scroll down to Deal Points for detail. For other Solitaire games, find this on the Rules or How to Play screen.

Q:  How do I manage the sounds feature?
A:  Sounds can be managed with the mute button on the play field, the sound level within settings, and with the buttons on your iOS device.

Q:  How do I play audio from another app (like music or podcasts) in Solebon?
A:  Some users have found it necessary to power their iOS device off and then restart to correct this problem.

Q:  How do I keep Solebon from activating my Bluetooth devices?
A: This is an issue better solved by Apple at the system level, but we have a workaround that should do the trick. Here's what you need to do:
     1.  Launch the Solebon app as you normally would.
     2.  Tap the mute button on the screen to turn off the sound.
     3.  Leave the app and then go back in.
With the mute button activated upon launch, the sound code should be totally deactivated so that the Bluetooth functionality won't detect it. We can't guarantee this will work with every scenario but your odds are pretty good.

Q:  How do I scroll on Solebon Pro for iPad?
A:   Solebon Pro for iPad requires two fingers to scroll since the one-finger drag is used to move cards. Also, use the two-finger pinch to resize cards.

Q:  ANDROID DISPLAY - How to correct display issues?
A: Follow these steps to address changes in the Android operating system:
     1.  Open the Settings for your device, select "Display" and then select "Full screen apps".
     2.  Scroll down through the apps until you find our Solitaire app.
     3.  Tap the switch to enable full screen mode.
